My wife and I have a previous version of this vacuum was the Hoover model U5753-900, for many years. Last week was the switch. My wife and I bought some local stores and wanted to replace the void with a similar model, perhaps the next model up the line. We ordered the best price on Amazon and the device, model U5786-900. We are very pleased with the improved performance of this model. We have always had great performance by the other Hoover so, then weHoover wanted to substitute a different model to receive. We have had over the years other brand vacuum (we are owners of real estate for over 33 years) and Hoover always outperform others and for longer.

The special features that I like about this are the hairs U5786 improved brush roller which are strong, but flexible, and the ease of a total vacuum. Surprised me, is almost self-propelled and move with ease. It comes with three additional tools in the top compartment,including a mini-roller-head, which is perfect for sofas and other furniture. They advertise as a tool for Pet hair, and using our 12-year-old golden retriever always ways to be on her favorite couch in place, this tool has had a lot of use.

Another important innovation in the U5753 which are in the U5786 is a one-touch bottom of the container empty dirt. Purchase only to vacuum carpets. - R. Wolfe -
This vacuum is not intended to be used on any other surface of the carpet. The car has a fair offer on the table, but all kinds of litter on the bare dirt floor and other objects (for example) on the floor just shot in the back of the car on the roller. The solution is already in the manual does nothing to prevent or resolve this problem, I ended up with both the area that I have the vacuum and the environment I was sucked through the pollution that has been sprayed sweepback. The product is okay, but not as good as Consumer Reports, it is. The exhaust air is from the front and blows the dust around, I'm trying to capture. Amazon should stick with books and movies.

Great car. Absolutely love the function of sensor dirt. I always tried to keep my house clean as possible, but with large, restless dogs that constantly bring the great outdoors at home, it was a losing battle. It's amazing the amount of garbage, apparently remained embedded in my carpet in my previous vacuum. Previously, when the steam cleaning of carpets, there was a distinct layer of dirt / mud on the bottom of the container of dirty water. Now, after aboutthis great product, there is no layer of dirt and mud on the bottom of a steam cleaner. Not particularly happy with the performance on hard surfaces, but the carpet is spectacular.

My wife and I have this product for two years now in possession, and we want to explore other options before that. We bought (on recommendation from a friend who was held for 20 years), but it is difficult for us to meet our needs:

Cons:
1. Difficult. It has a handle to help carry it up and down the stairs, but it is still complicated.
2. Hose installation delay. Like the other review mentioned, you must remove the brush headInstall the pipe. This makes cleaning very boring, and I miss the ease, just pull out a tube to be achieved, where the brush head is not in shape and continuing.
3. Unnecessary accessories. A big advantage is the attachment shampoo, the Bubble Maker, sprayers, blowers, etc. We have never used a computer. Change the oil in my car is easier than installing the seizure shampoo, and when I think of spraying insecticide around the foundation, my sprayer, not a vacuum cleaner. Theplants only we commonly use are the traditional vacuum.
4. Belts / bags hard to find / replace. Kirby closed the shop in our area a year ago, and it is hard to find belts and bags (to break the - we have replaced 3 times in 2 years). Change the bag can be chaotic. We have a large dog with long hair that fills the bag in a hurry.

I recommend that if you buy one, find a friend who has one, and borrow for a couple of weeks to determine whether it meets your needs.
